Our registered nurse provides post-operative care in coordination with the patient’s surgeon or provider, which may include:

Dressing changes per provider instructions
Reinforcement of wound care education

Monitoring and documentation of surgical drain output
Drain site assessment and care
Drain removal when ordered by the surgeon

Assessment of pain levels, swelling, and mobility
